Improving Drawing Skills for Watercolor Artists

Recently, an episode of Joyce Meyer came on my local TV station.  This is one of her newer shows, the format is more intimate.  She was teaching from a podium, more like a classroom instead of the large event style teachings that she normally does.  In this episode she talked about the gifts or talents that God has given each of us.  She mentioned that God gives people a variety of gifts or talents.  Some are more prominent than others.  Spending time to improve our weaker talents instead of improving a talent that we are better in may not be a wise choice.  I have been taking her advice to heart.

A talent that I received from God is creating art.  An important part of creating art is to be able to draw or sketch.  This has never been a strong point in my art career.  Recently, I have been able to spend some time advancing my talent.  Drawing people so that I may include them in my landscape paintings has been  something that I have been wanting to do for a long time.  One of my favorite ways to learn new things is using youtube.com (link is below).   The photo below are the sketches completed in my first session.  The artist in the video taught a way to draw figures that I was able to relate to.

If anyone has interesting drawing technique videos please share them.
