Tanya Powell: Watercolor painting is something that takes up most of my free time. My painting preference is any subject with a sky. Expanding my artistic skills to include subject matter without a sky is not very comfortable, to help make this transition more enjoyable my blog includes a segment called "Try Something New". In this segment I try new subject matter, painting things that I would normally not try. Trying new techniques and color combinations hoping this will not only challenge my artistic style but encourage other artists to do the same. Some of the pieces featured on my blog are pieces that are sold and some pieces are for sale. This blog is about my art journey and I hope it will inspire other artists along their own art journey.
